Já com sitio no mundo da internet, o google aposta mais uma vez num novo serviço: Google TV. Este projecto pretende trazer até nossa cada todas as funcionalidades da TV associadas ao poder da internet. O objectivo é transformar a televisão actual num meio em dois sentidos, isto é, não serve apenas para nos trazer informação como também serve para recolher a informação e preferências de cada utilizador.
O conceito não será muito diferente de um motor de busca tradicional, onde o utilizador escreve o que quer ver, e ser-lhe-áoferecido um vasto de leque de soluções relacionadas com o termo da pesquisa. Além disso, será de esperar a evolução do youtube para este projecto que ao mesmo tempo, incluirá todos e mais alguns serviços da TV digital (guias de programação digitais, widgets, e tudo e tudo…).
